Preserve Blooming Grove, the preeminent non-partisan community organization dedicated to preserving the nature, sustainable growth, and diversity of Blooming Grove, has endorsed Colin Schmitt for the 99th Assembly District.
Kevin Radday, Co-Founder of Preserve Blooming Grove stated, “Preserve Blooming Grove enthusiastically endorses Colin Schmitt for the 99th State Assembly District. Colin is a leader who can and will work across the aisle in service to our community and district. His experience and deep knowledge of our region ensures he will be ready day one to work with us and achieve positive results on the many issues facing our community.
Colin has the energy and enthusiasm necessary to stand shoulder to shoulder with all residents of Blooming Grove and fight for us both here in the district and up in Albany. Colin has never shied away from doing what is right, even if it meant taking on powerful members of his own party. Colin embraces and actively supports our mission to achieve equal treatment for all, special treatment for none.
I firmly believe that Colin will always be there for us and the residents of the 99th Assembly District regardless of party or background. Blooming Grove and Washingtonville will be well served. We encourage all residents to support Colin Schmitt on November 6th.
Colin Schmitt stated, “I am grateful to Preserve Blooming Grove for their endorsement and support. In the State Assembly, I will lead the fight against systemic welfare abuse, defend our natural resources against high density housing and unsustainable growth, and ensure all communities are treated equally-- with special treatment for none. I am proud of my proven track record of getting the job done and delivering real results for our area. It would be an honor to put my experience to work for all of us in the State Assembly where Blooming Grove and our entire district can count on me to be the strongest voice for the many pressing issues we face.”
Colin Schmitt is committed to public service. Colin is a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and chief-of-staff for New Windsor’s town government. Previously, Colin served as Director of Operations for the NYS Senate Committee on Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs. Colin and his fiancée, Nikki, live in the Town of New Windsor.
