County Executive Ed Day endorses Schmitt for Stony Point Assembly Seat
New Windsor, NY -- Colin Schmitt, the Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform Party candidate for the 99th Assembly District, has earned the endorsement of Rockland County Executive Ed Day.
The County Executive released the following statement.
"We need leaders in Albany who are willing to do the hard work of standing up for Rockland County, not just go along to get along with the New York City Special interests. Colin Schmitt is that leader. Colin serves in the Army National Guard. He is from here and will never forget who he is fighting for. We need someone who will stand for Stony Point and be a voice that defends our values. That person is Colin Schmitt. I urge all Stony Point voters to support Colin Schmitt on Election Day November 8th."
Colin J. Schmitt is a resident of New Windsor. He serves in the Army National Guard and previously served as Director of Operations for the NYS Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee. For more information visit www.ColinSchmitt.com.
