Team Schmitt participates in successful Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Day Parade
New Windsor, NY -- (3/14/16) Colin J. Schmitt, and his team of volunteers and supporters, had a great time participating in the annual Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 13, 2016 in Goshen.
Over a dozen volunteer members of “Team Schmitt” attended the parade and helped pass out over 500 free green “Schmitt Shamrock” balloons and over 1000 free “Schmitt Shamrock” stickers to revelers who came out to salute a great day in American culture.
Pictured above is Colin Schmitt with some of his volunteers and supporters during the parade.
Colin Schmitt stated, “It is said everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. Well in Goshen that was proven true as our diverse community came together to celebrate one of the most prominent American cultural celebrations of the year. It was great to be able to pass out hundreds of St. Patrick’s themed balloons and thousands of stickers to men and women and children of all ages. It was a pleasure for "Team Schmitt" to be part of the festivities. I would like to congratulate Sr. Ann Daly on serving as Grand Marshall on the most beautiful of parade days and wish all a great St. Patrick’s Day.”
Colin J. Schmitt is a resident of New Windsor. He serves in the Army National Guard and previously served as Director of Operations for the NYS Senate Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee. For more information visit www.ColinSchmitt.com.
