SMALL BUSINESSES PICK ASSEMBLYMAN COLIN SCHMITT: FORMALLY ENDORSED NFIB
Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C,I,LBT,SAM- New Windsor) has been endorsed for reelection by the NFIB (National Federation of Independent Businesses) NY PAC.
Per the formal endorsement release “NFIB is the state and the nation’s leading small-business association with thousands of members in New York representing nearly every conceivable type of employer or industry in the state’s economy. The endorsements come from NFIB’s NY PAC, the association’s state political action committee, and are based on positions regarding key small-business issues including taxes, health care, workplace mandates, economic development, and regulatory issues.”
NFIB’s endorsement press release states, “State legislative incumbents and candidates endorsed by NFIB’s NY PAC have demonstrated their commitment to the small businesses in their communities and will be champions for an economic recovery that starts on the Main Streets across our state.”
The NFIB formal endorsement letter to Assemblyman Schmitt stated, “NFIB NY PAC has endorsed your candidacy for election to the New York State Legislature based upon your consistent support of the small business agenda.”

Colin Schmitt is committed to public service. Colin is a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and Assemblyman for the 99th NYS Assembly District which includes the Town of Stony Point in Rockland County and The Towns of Wawayanda, Goshen, Hamptonburgh, Chester, Blooming Grove, New Windsor, Cornwall, Highlands and Woodbury in Orange County.
