ASSEMBLYMAN COLIN SCHMITT ENDORSED BY PORT AUTHORITY PBA
Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt (R,C,I,LBT,SAM- New Windsor) has been unanimously endorsed for reelection by the Port Authority PBA.
The PAPBA represents over 3,700 active and retired members of the 24th largest police force in the United States.
The PAPBA formal letter of endorsement stated, “We are extremely proud to inform you that the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association, Inc. has endorsed your candidacy for re-election to New York’s 99th Assembly District.”
“Your commitment to public service is well demonstrated both as a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and an Assemblyman. You are committed to fighting the heroin epidemic by prevention and law enforcement. You have been a staunch supporter of first responders and an outspoken voice on our behalf, regardless of the opposition. We wish you the greatest success in your campaign, as we know you have so much more to contribute to our state.”
